Disposition:

Charismatic: Jiro takes after his older brother a bit in this way, being someone that is quite likeable especially to people his age. He has a lot of friends at school that are always asking about him, wanting to hang out with him, and that extends just beyond his school as well. He's cultivated his own network of contacts throughout the divisions, and it seems through befriending and talking to people who are more small-time. His brothers also remark how girls are always dumping their valentine chocolate on him and he has his own dedicated fan group among the girls in his class.

Dumb: Hear me out; he's got a good heart and is friendly, but he's also really not that smart when it comes to several things. Several times in parts of the canon he has trouble reading the kanji in people's names and has had to get his younger brother, Saburo to help him with his homework. His grades aren't that great and he'd rather play sports and run around than do something like studying. He secretly admires Saburo's talent for being amazing at intellectual stuff, but he's not going to say that out loud. One of his gang buddies even tells him he shouldn't let himself be so easily tricked and wear his heart on his sleeve; it might come back to bite him.

Protective: It goes in hand with growing up with only his brothers as family in an orphanage: He's very protective of his brothers and anyone he considers as a friend. Multiple times he's leaped to his brothers defenses both physically and emotionally, though in the beginning for his older brother Ichiro, it was defending the image of him he had in his mind. Now it's because he wants to return the favor; they are his brothers, and no one messes with them while he is around. He's stated quite solidly that he hates bullies as well. Anyone who picks on those weaker than themselves is the lowest of the low in his opinion, and considering himself the guard dog of Ikebukuro, he will do his best to defend his home, family and people from any threat.

Combative: Unfortunately, this guy will also throw down at a moments notice, and has a particular distrust towards adults who haven't proven themselves to him yet. He was raised in an orphanage where they were constantly being taken advantage of by adults after all. Going in line with his traits before, he'll leap immediately into the physical if someone or something he's trying to protect is in danger, and it's quite easy to goad him into a fight. Since the advent of hypnosis mics, this of course has changed from street fights to rap battles, though he the amount of 'you wanna fuckin' go??' has stayed the same. He's pretty impulsive and brash, and sometimes just says things that he probably shouldn't say to someone's face.



Suitability: Jiro is someone who knows the importance of befriending and making connections with other people. Even if at first he's angry and combative because he's been kidnapped before and now he's without his brothers, it will die down as it seems it wasn't on purpose and there are people there who need his help. He loves anime; it would be easy to imagine himself as protagonist for one of those isekai and he's not just going to sit on the sidelines. Getting rewarded with energy for bonding with people seems okay, though he's still skittish about the deeper 'aspects' of things like that. Saving the world sounds fun and he likes these cool new powers the gems give him; even if he's still kind of suspicious of all the natives of this place. It will be a lot easier for him to bond with his fellow Gembonded, feeling an urge to protect them.

Condition upon arrival: He's a normal, healthy, fit teenager, though he will probably be fairly in a panic and combative when he first arrives and meets the others.

Abilities: Jiro is for the most part a normal athletic human. However, he plays sports (soccer mainly) and is shown to be able to kick a soccer ball with excellent accuracy and basically parkour his way down the side of a building. Jiro also is pretty good in a fist fight, though most of his skill seems to be picked up from defending his brother against bullies and getting into fights on the street. Jiro can play the guitar.

He also has a hypnosis mic, which are microphones that can affect the nervous system when spoken into. Jiro's raps with the mic would potentially be able to knock an opponent down and cause them pain depending on their fortitude and the strength of his attack, and like the other characters, has a rap ability. (Yes, I know it sounds wierd.)

His ability, Rally, can join with and power up another person's attack, though this is only if someone has another mic and is on his sides/he trusts them.

Inventory: The only things he will likely have with him are his hypnosis mic, which is a mostly nondescript mic with a Chuuoku logo on it (pre-transformation.), and his cellphone.
